As a Health Care Assistant at Serenity Care Circle Limited, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care services to our clients, helping them to live comfortable and fulfilling lives in their own homes. Your duties will include:

  • Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing, and toileting.

  • Supporting with mobility and transfers.

  • Helping with medication administration and the monitoring of health conditions.

  • Assisting with meal preparation and supporting clients with eating and drinking.

  • Providing companionship and support with social activities.

  • Working closely with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.

Requirements

Qualifications and Education: NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is preferred. Candidates without this qualification but willing to undergo training are welcome to apply.


Experience: Previous experience in a care setting is highly desirable. We value experience that includes working with elderly clients, individuals with disabilities, and those requiring palliative care. However, newcomers to the care sector who demonstrate a genuine passion for helping others will also be considered.

Flexibility: Willingness to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to meet our clients' needs.

Physical Requirements: The role involves physical tasks such as assisting with client mobility and transfers. A good level of physical fitness is necessary.


Legal and Compliance Requirements:

  • Must be eligible to work in the UK.

  • An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be required.

Adherence to health and safety regulations and the ability to maintain confidentiality is paramount.

Professional Development: A commitment to ongoing professional development and willingness to participate in training sessions provided by Serenity Care Circle Limited to enhance skills and knowledge.


Technology Skills: Basic IT skills to navigate care management software and maintain digital records.
